In this video that will act as the introduction to the series into Taoism we will explore how Shamanic Chinese roots have developed into a strong foundation for the easters concept of Taoism. In this video we will briefly look at why i have used the term Taoism to represent all Chinese shamanism as a term we can use to understand its nature in the culture, but also look at the wide spectrum of study and development that the system represents, each aspect we will seek to explore more completely in the videos in the series that will follow.
