Taoism - Wu 4, The Eight Trigrams and What They Really Symbolise.

In this video we look at how Yin and Yang divide into the eight variations of perceived space, and how they are used to measure cycles and and given physical event. It is often lost in modern day how or what these eight aspects mean as we tend to focus on each one as a whole but we forget that Taoism is about wholeness and completeness in the universe. the eight are parts of the one but different steps along the path to allow us to see where we are in the journey. The Eight Trigrams are a developed path inside the four directions of the last lesson, but equally develop straight from Yin and Yang forming a hidden ninth point which allows the system to directly translate in the tree of life or Kabballah in western systems. In this way we can begin to use the system to understand how to both learn from our past actions but also plan for the future and map our lives to their highest potential.
