In this video we look at how in our last video we discovered the four elements of the universe and how they relate to the four functions of energy in all vibrational states, two active and two passive, the two active being fire, and water are forces of change either internal or external while the two passive being Air and Earth are types of perspective when either expansion or contraction takes place. Now we look deeper at not only how these four concepts work in more detail but in terms of creating a usable cycle of change in the universe and how they are manifested in the twelve fractions of the zodiac or any given complete cycle. These just like a story represent the beginning, middle and end of each of the types of elemental function, or in more Astrological terms, the Cardinal phase, the Fixed phase and the Mutable phase. From this we can begin to truly understand the meaning and use of the zodiac signs as we progress to understand how the structure of the universe can be mapped out by the use of the ancient system in ways we would not expect in our modern day methods of thinking. We will also uncover a hidden fourth part to each elements life cycle that has not yet been discussed before in the field of astrology, this is the hidden or passive phase of each element. Once we have uncovered the last section of tools in the world of astrology we can finally begin to discuss in our series how true astrology works and what it was really intended to be used for by the shamans of old.
