Venus is closely related to the subconscious mind and symbolises everything to do with the first stage of electromagnetic wave generation that forms light waves. in essence forming light, emotion and the subconscious mind. in Greek mythology this is represented by Demeter the goddess of life and less so the goddess of love in Aphrodite which is often swapped out for the roman goddess of Venus, harvest and birth.
